About Me

I am a Chartered Surveyor having been involved in surveying all types of residential properties for more than 23 years within Hampshire and the surrounding areas. Having graduated from the University of the West of England, Bristol in 1994 with a BSc(Hons) in Building Surveying, I moved back to Southampton and worked as a surveyor in the Loss Adjusting industry for 6 years dealing with a variety of insurance related claims. This included subsidence, fire, storm and flood damage on domestic properties.

This was followed by 2 years surveying industrial and commercial buildings for a large corporate company in Portsmouth where I gained my MRICS Qualification.

I have spent the last 15 years specialising in Homebuyers Surveys and Residential Building Surveys on all types of residential dwellings. I am also a Registered Valuer carrying out Red Book valuations on residential dwellings for private finance purposes, Government Help to buy schemes, Matrimonial matters, and for Inheritance tax and Probate purposes.

I offer a personal professional service from inception of the instruction through to delivery of the service and provide further assistance as required to ensure the customer receives the service expected of an MRICS Surveyor who is regulated by the RICS.

Being a sole practitioner I am able to keep fees to a reasonable level and I have no VAT on fees making the cost of reports more affordable while still delivering the quality of service you would expect from an experienced local surveyor.
